OUR FAMILY

At Liebe Cornelia Hooves to Healing, we are more than just a team—we’re a family. Our family includes Victor, Nicole, Andreas, Kaleal, Gianna, and Ashley, all of whom play a vital role in shaping our community and mission. Each of us brings a shared passion for helping others heal through the power of horses.

We also honor the memory of Cornelia Buonamia, who we lost unexpectedly in 2022. Cornelia’s love, kindness, and dedication remain at the heart of everything we do, and we miss her dearly every day.

Together, our family is committed to providing a welcoming, nurturing environment where participants feel valued, respected, and supported on their healing journeys. We invite you to join our family at Liebe Cornelia Hooves to Healing and experience the warmth, care, and community that make us unique.

Dying for a Star (Star)

Thoroughbred

Star, born January 6th, 2011, is a former racehorse and Secretariat descendant. After racing, he became a beloved teacher of young riders. Since joining us in April 2024, Star has amused everyone with his playful antics and love for treats. He enjoys ear rubs, grooming, and making people laugh.

Pocos Leroi Freckles (Spirit)

Quarter Horse

Spirit, born April 4th, 2018, is a playful bay dun gelding known for his distinctive zebra stripes and dorsal stripe. Trained as a Western Pleasure horse, he loves trail rides and joined us in May 2024. Spirit’s sweet yet silly nature shines as he enjoys giving kisses, playing with toys, and running with friends in the pasture.

Toby

Spotted Saddlebred

Toby is a 15-year-old, black and white paint gelding with a gentle heart. Adopted on October 5th, 2024, he previously enjoyed a quiet life of trail riding. Though a bit shy at first, Toby quickly warms up with a treat and offers “kisses” like a puppy. His smooth gait makes him perfect for beginners, and he loves cuddles, adding a heartwarming presence to the ranch.

Piko Mystique
(Piko)

Miniature Horse

Piko, a lively cremello miniature horse born July 26, 2018, joined Liebe Cornelia in November 2024. Trained by Honey’s Mini Therapy Adventures, he brings joy and support to all he meets. Known for his playful nature, Piko loves smiles, treats, and showing off his pearly whites. A sassy yet sweet addition, he now spreads laughter at the ranch while happily bossing the big horses around.

Dallas
(Dallas)

Morgan / Standard Bred

Dallas is the epitome of grace and beauty in motion. At just six years old, he already shows the temperament of a dependable ranch horse and a phenomenal trail partner. Eager to please and quick with affection, Dallas wins hearts from the very first interaction. His trainers have nothing but praise, calling him the next rock star destined to become a fan favorite here at LCH2H.

Butter
(Butter)

Quarter Horse

Butter is a 14-year-old AQHA gelding straight from the ranches of Texas. He’s got all the fancy buttons of a show horse, paired with a calm and confident demeanor. Whether he’s in the show arena, out on the ranch, or cruising down his favorite trails, Butter is right at home. He’s a special horse, and we’re proud to have him here at LCH2H.

Nugget
(Nugget)

Quarter Horse

Nugget is our wise old man from Texas. Butter is estimated to be in his late teens and brings the maturity that comes with years of experience toting cowboys around the farm and working cattle. When it comes to caring for our new riders, Nugget is always happy to take on the assignment. Standing at 14.1 hands, he’s perfect for those not quite ready to climb too high in the saddle.
